Settembre Lucchese

In September
The "Lucchese September" is the traditional event that takes place every year in the space of September and there are a lot of events that make Lucca the absolute protagonist.
In this period there are cultural, folk and religious events but also fairs, stands and trade exposures.
On September 13 in the evening there is the traditional "Luminara" of Santa Croce and the solemn procession in honor of the "Volto Santo" which is the wooden Crucifix kept in the cathedral.

The Restaurant

The Restaurant Prato Verde is situated on the hill of Chiatri Puccini surrounded by woods, olives and fields.
It was born 45 years ago and it has always been managed by Angeli family. The cuisine offers dishes typical of Tuscany and Lucca like the hand made pasta, the barbecue meat and lamb with rosemary.
You can also taste local fish and vegetables seasoned with the extra virgin olive oil of Chiatri.
